Today was quite a special one as it was the Tramlines Music Festival in Sheffield which is a time when the whole city comes alive and visitors from far and wide appear in order to visit the music venues and bars that all contribute to such a fantastic weekend.
I have always made it a tradition to go to the "Fat Cat" pub to watch the Everly Pregnant Brothers where they play on this special event day but this year they had bought there own pub called Brothers Arms and they were playing here instead. Whilst no one was actually counting, it was suggested that at least 8000 people were there but could have been as many as 10,000 but as I say, "Who's Counting".
Here is a short video that Peter Hulbert took whilst squashed up in the crowd but despite the limited space, it was a very enjoyable time.
The weather was fine, the good humor was excellent and the music was just as expected. This was a day to which Peter Hulbert had waited some 365 days for and will wait another 365 for next years event.. I always say if you are a performer, you should be able to do it live and these guys are a class act live.
