Peter Hulbert 10.07.2016

A local Folley which is a bit of a tourist spot location which looks down upon the beautiful valley and reservoirs.

This Guy looks busy doing what he/she does at this time of year which is generally just chewing grass.

The next few pictures show the weather begining to close in and may turn to rain. The main feature here is the cloud formation and how dramatic it can change a picture.

Its so peaceful here today, the mist is coming in but the silence is almost deafoning.

Both of these images show the skies and how quickly it all starts to change in this part of the world with the clouds rolling in and occasional glimps of sunlight through the broken cloud.

Its lambing time here in Yorkshire and the whole area is covered with new life.

This was a walk allong one of the many pathways scirting the edge of the lakeside.

A wild flower can often look so good in a close up picture.

This was a gaggle of geese which was taking a well earned rest on their long journey ahead.

Such a lovely view across the lake when the wind dies down.

The very long and peacefull pathway along the side of the lake.

Wonderful colour change as the light from the reflection of the sun shines on the water.

Check out the trees with Fungi growing on them. They make the tree look so strange and alter the shape so much but shows that nature is thriving in this area.

It's always a good sign of nature doing quite well when you see fungus growing wild, it serves a very vital part of the eco chain in breaking down other elements such as rotting wood etc.

This appears to be the most pointles sign anywhere. It is not on a path and not very viewable for anyone passing by, perhaps it is meant to be here so as to keep the observation and mind working overtime. I always think if you come out to the country for a walk and only see the walk, you have missed so much.

This gives you a perspecting of hight of these trees and just how high they really are. They almost reach to the skies and some appear to almost touch them.

The geese appear on mass again and the noise is so destinctive and very loud when you are withing hearing distance, it always amazes me just what a journey these guys cover in a year and we have there blessing for such a short time and we should appreciate the moment they take the time to visit us on mass.
