I took some time out this week to share some colour from our spring time which has finally arrived with some long beautiful sunny days and the wonders of nature all around. The bright and beautiful colours of flora are all around for us all to enjoy.
Below is a view through Concord Woods and all around you can see wild Garlic which is in full bloom with it's white flower head and in the background, a sea of bluebells.
Bluebells appear to grow on mass or not at all and at this time of year, the woods are covered with the fragrence of these gentle little flowers.
The Bluebells are growing in huge quantities in every direction and as far as the eye can see. Spring is such a colorful time in England.
Here again, the smell of wild garlic is quite strong and this wonderful white flower now tells you it is ready to be used to make the most wonderful soup and I can tell you from experience, there is nothing quite like wild garlick soup.
